The 3rd Shokhi Women’s Football Tournament will begin on March 4.
A total of six teams will take part in the knock-out basis tournament.
Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) will arrange the football meet with the technical assistance of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
Regarding the football competition, a press conference was held at the conference room in the Bangladesh Football Federation House on Thursday.
Chairperson of the Women’s Football Committee of BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron, Advisor of BLAST Advocate Tajul Islam, Deputy Director of BLAST Mahbuba Akter, Project Manager of BLAST Abdul Malek and Media Manager of BFF Ahsan Ahmed Amit were present at the conference.
The first phase and second phase matches will be held at the Textile Engineering College Central Playground in the city’s Tejagaon on March 4 and March 5.
The final will be held at the Central Playground in Dhaka University on March 8.
The champions and the runners-up will be awarded trophies and medals.
