After two-day recess, the 3rd round of the Minister Fridge-DRU six-a-side Media Cup Football Tournament begins today (Sunday) at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here.
The 3rd round matches are: Kaler Kantho vs Radio Today (8:30 am), NTV vs Manabzamin (9:00 am), RTV vs Jamuna TV (9:30 am), Channel 24 vs Bangla Vision (10:00 am), Banglanews24.com vs bdnews24.com (10:30 am), Daily Star vs GTV (11:00 am), BSS vs ATN Bangla (11:30 am) and Amader Somoy vs Jugantor (12 noon).
Earlier in the 2nd round matches on Thursday, Radio Today outplayed Sangram 5-0, Jamuna TV beat UNB 2-0, Jugantor overcame Ittefaq 2-1 in tie-breaker, Manabzamin beat Janakontho 2-0 also in tie-breaker, bdnews24.com outplayed Bartoman 3-0 and ATN Bangla defeated SATV by 3-0 goals to reach the 3rd round.
Besides, Bangla Vision got walkover against Bangla Tribune and GTV against Bangladesh Protidin.
