The 3rd convocation of the Asian University for Women (AUW) held in Chittagong in a colourful ceremony yesterday morning.
All the passing out students participated the convocation wearing convocation dress. The convocation was arranged posh convention hall of the city (Hall-24). AUW Trusty Mr. Young Jun Kim inaugurated the convocation ceremony . Information Minister Hasanul Hoque Inu graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Vice Chancellor of the AUW Dr. Fahima Aziz introduced the invited guests in the dais to the students. US ambassador in Bangladesh Ms Marsha Barnicut addressed the occasion as honourable guest.
115 students of 12 countries were given certificates of honourable degree in the convocation, sources said.
