Chittagong Bureau :
Police detained 39 Malaysia-bound fortune seekers from Shah Amanat Bridge area of the port city yesterday morning.
Details of the detainees could not be known immediately.
Sources said, that acting on a tip off, police stopped a passenger bus in the area around 11:00am and detained the people .Confirming the matter, Bakalia Thana Officer-in-Charge Mahsin told that no manpower broker were detained in this connection. Unreliable sources said most of the Malaysian aspirants came in Chittagong from other parts of the country aimed at voyage to Malaysia through illegal sea route. The bus onboard of fortune seekers is moving towards Coxsbazar , sources said.
