A total of 378 journalists and media employees of 99 media houses tested positive for Covid-19, as of Thursday.
Out of them, six died and 98 won their battle against the lethal virus, according to Facebook-based group Our Media, Our Rights.
Among 99 media houses, 52 are print media, 27 private TV channels, 14 online news portals, four private radio stations and another is news agency, sources added.
On Thursday, the country’s total number of Covid-19 cases exceeded one lakh, and death toll being1343.
Bangladesh on March 8 this year first confirmed its coronavirus cases, and since then it has been a sharp increase in both infections and fatalities.
