A 36-day skill development programme for newly appointed teachers at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) began on Tuesday.
BUP Vice-Chancellor Maj Gen Md Salahuddin Miaji inaugurated the programme titled “Faculty Development Programme” as the chief guest at the central conference room on the university campus in the city’s Mirpur area, said a BUP press release.
BUP Pro-VC Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah addressed the function as the special guest with Commodore Syed Misbahuddin Ahmed in the chair.
The skill development programme will end on May 23.
