UNB, Jhenidah :
Police in a special drive arrested 36 people from different areas of the district on Sunday.
During the drive, the law enforcers also recovered drug from the possession of the arrestees.
Additional Police Super of Jhenidah Azbahar Ali Sheikh said that they conducted the special drive in different places of six upazilas of the district from Saturday night to Sunday morning and arrested them on various charges.
Among the arrestees, 13 were arrested from Jhenidah Sadar upazila, three from Horinakundu, three from Shailkupa, nine from Kaliganj, six from Moheshpur and two from Kotchadpur upazilas.
