Sports Reporter :The 35th National Women’s Chess Championship begins tomorrow (Thursday) at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room. The number draw will be held today.Bangladesh Chess Federation will arrange the chess meet under auspices of IWICA Chess School.A number of four chess players will play in the chess tournament directly while eight chess selected chess players will take part in the chess meet.The competition will be held on Round Robin League basis.Reigning champion International Woman Master Shamima Akhter Liza, defending runner-up Woman FIDE Master Nazrana Khan Iva, International Woman Master Rani Hamid and Woman FIDE Master Tanima Parvin will directly take part in the chess competition.The selected players are: Woman FIDE Master Sharmin Sultana Shirin, Woman FIDE Master Zakia Sultana, Samiha Sharmin Simmi, Jhorna Begum, Fatema-tuz-Zohra Sraboni, Tanjina Akhter Tani, Sumaiya Khondker and Afrin Jahan Munia.
