The 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Indenting Agents’ Association (BIAA) was held on Saturday at the Samson Center of Dhaka Club Limited. M. S. Siddiqui, President, BIAA presided over the function. More than 170 member-firms of the Association attended the Annual General Meeting.
M. S. Siddiqui, President, BIAA placed the Annual Report-2016, which was passed unanimously. Audited statement of Accounts were passed and adopted. Besides this, M Jamaluddin, Chairman, Election Board formally announced the result of the election of Board of Directors for the year 2017 and 2018. Muhammad Ayub, M. S. I Dastagir and Md. Anwarul Ghani were elected President, Senior Vice-President and Vice-President respectively. While, Bahadur Bapari, Md. Esharot Hossain, Md. Altaf Hossain Biswas, Md. Abdus Salam, Deepok K. Baral, Abdullah Al Mahmood, Al Mahmud Moinul Hoque, M. Kamal Uddin, S. M. Salim Reza, Md. Nuruzzaman, K.M.N. Manjurul Haque, Dr. Jaglul A Mozumder, Farid Ahmed, Mohammed Arfan, Md. Asadullah, Kazi Abdus Salam, Md. Monir Hossain and A. K. M. Azad were elected as Directors. The AGM was ended with vote of thanks offered by Dr. Jaglul A Mozumder, Sr. Vice-President of BIAA.
