A non -government organisation Polli Shree distributed blankets among one hundred of cold-hit woman at Phulbari upazila area in under Dinajpur district on Thursday morning.
President of Phulbari Press Club and Dinajpur (South) Correspondent The New Nation Lecturer Amar Chand Gupta Apu was Chief Guest and UIpazila Co-operative Officer Abdur Rashid as special guest. IDLC Finance ltd’s assistant group leader Mahfuzur Rahman, Deputy Group leader Manik Uddin, Polli Shree’s Monitoring Officer Touhidul Haque and anther parson of Polli Shree attended programme . The programme was presided over by Shikha Rani Datta Unit Managerr of Polli Shree.
BSS from Rangpur reports: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) distributed 2,000 blankets among the cold-hit distressed people of all ages in Ulipur upazila of Kurigram on Sunday, said a press release.
The ICAB distributed the blankets with financial assistance of ‘Sparkle’, an organisation of the Young Chartered Accountants under management of the Accounting & Information Systems (AIS) Club of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR).
‘Sparkle’ distributed the blankets among the cold-hit men, women, children and adolescents as a part of its ongoing social welfare activities being conducted throughout the country under its corporate social responsibility programme.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Panchagarh Md. Salahuddin distributed 150 blankets among the cold-hit poor people.
