35 rivers recorded rise, 45 fall

Water levels in 35 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 45 stations recorded fall.
Among the 84 monitored water level stations, one river station has been registered steady and two rivers are flowing above danger mark, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Wednesday.
The Kansha river at Jariajanjail and the Halda at Naryanhat are flowing its danger levels by 19 cm and 80 cm respectively.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am on Wednesday. A total of 190 mm rainfall were recorded at Panpukuria, 172 mm at Chittagong, 155.5 mm at Narayangaht , 145 mm at Rangamati, 146.4 mm at Patuakhali, 140 mm at Ramgarh, 126 mm at Bandarban, 107 mm at Lama, 84 mm at Cox’s Bazar, 68.4 mm at Noakhali, 133.4 mm at Barguna, 100 mm at Tangail, 91 mm at Nakuagaon, 76.3 mm at Bogra, 76 mm at Sirajganj, 72 mm at Naogaon, 61.5 mm at Chilmari , 70.5 mm at Kushtia, 55 mm at Barisa and 42.5 mm at Mymensingh.
