35 BNP-Jamaat men sued over bomb attack on Feni magistrate

A case has been filed against 35 leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies and Jamaat-e-Islami in connection with the Friday’s bomb attack on a microbus carrying a magistrate in the district town which left two injured.
Microbus driver and district administration employee Riad Uddin filed the case against 35 known BNP and Jamaat men with Feni Model Police Station on Saturday evening.
District BNP acting President Abu Taher, its general secretary Ziauddin Misters, district Jubo Dal president Gazi Habibullah Manik and district Jamaat ameer Shamsuddin were among the accused.
Earlier, on Friday night, two people, including executive magistrate Abdul Qader, sustained injuries in a crude bomb attack by miscreants near the police quarters on Shaheed Shahidullah Qaiser Road in the district town.
Meanwhile, police arrested three people from Rampur area of the town on Friday night in this connection.
