Water levels in 34 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 27 stations recorded fall.
The Ganges and Meghna are in rising trend which may continue for next 48 hours.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers system are in falling trend while the Padma and the Surma-Kushiyara river system is in rising trend, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Saturday.
According to the information of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), there is a chance of mediumto heavy rainfall in the North-Eastern part of Bangladesh specially in Sylhet, Sunamganj and Moulvibazar districts in next 24 hours.
Flash Flood in few places of Sylhet and Sunamganj may likely to Occur in next 24 hours.
A total of 76 mm rainfall was recorded at Sylhet 61 mm, Sheprup-Sylhet 55 mm, Manu Rly BR 52 mm and Seola 30 mm.
