The 33rd founding anniversary Dainik Purbokone, a popular Bengali daily of the port city was observed amid enthusiastic mood.
City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin formally inaugurated the anniversary programmes by cutting cake as chief guest yesterday at its Nasirabad office. The daily started journey on 10th February 1986 .
