Bangladesh Air Force Women’s Welfare Association (BAFWWA) handed over stipend to 334 meritorious students for their outstanding performance in SSC, HSC, ‘O’ and ‘A’ level examinations this year.
BAFWWA President Tasneem Esrar handed over the cheques of stipend among the brilliant students as the chief guest at Falcon Hall in the city’s Tejgaon area, an ISPR release said on Tuesday.
A total of 135 students for achieving golden GPA-5 in SSC and HSC examinations, 197 for achieving general GPA-5 in SSC and HSC examinations and two students for achieving ‘A’ grade in at least six subjects of ‘O’ level examination got the stipend from BAFWWA.
Vice-Presidents of Central BAFWWA, Spouses of senior BAF officers, Directors of Air Headquarters, Principals of BAF Shaheen School and Colleges and guardians of stipend recipients were present on the occasion.
