The call center introduced to provide the citizens with information of receiving public services dialing helpline 333 helped preventing 243 child marriages in the district in last one year.

333 call centre has started journey in the country about one year back to provide citizens with information on procedures of receiving public services.
The call center was introduced as part of the government’s initiatives to widen the right to information of the citizens.
Anyone can dial helpline 333 from anywhere and receive information about government offices/ officers, tourist attractions, 64 districts and redressal of different social problems.
Across the country more than 2,500 people used the call center phone number to prevent early marriage, Natore DC said.
The call center was mostly used for lodging complaint against eve teasing, getting information about e-TIN, safe migration, weather and rail services.
The press conference was arranged to motivate people for using the emergency call center 333.
Principal of Nawab Siraj-ud-Dowla Government College Prof. Shamsuzzaman, Natore District Council chairman advocate Sajedur Rahman Khan and senior officials were present.
