A total of 3163 examinees were absent and 8 were expelled in first day of Junior School Certificate-JSC examination under Barishal Education Board on Saturday November 2, 2019.
Out of total 1, 15,718 JSC examinees 1, 12,555 participated in Bangla 1st paper examination under Barishal Education Board.
Prof Anwarul Azim, Controller of Examinations of BEB, disclosing these facts said among the expelled eight examinees six were from Bhola and 2 were from Jhalakathi districts.
Among the absent 3163 examinees , 924 were from Barishal, 305 were from Jhalakathi, 351 from Pirojpur, 556 were from Patuakhali, 342 were from Barguna and 685 were from Bhola districts, he added.
