Staff Reporter :Police failed to nab anybody in connection with the Sunday’s incident of triple murder at North Kazi Nagar village of Nateshawr union under Sonaimuri upazila in Noakhali district though two- days have already been elapsed in the meantime.When contacted, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Ilias Sharif told The New Nation over telephone last night that the police have failed tonab the culprits till the date. “We are trying to nab the killers. Separate teams of police have been conducting raids at different areas to catch them. But the killers have fled away just after the murder. Hope, we will get result soon,” he said.Meanwhile, brother of the victim Morshed Alam filed a case with Sonaimuri Police Station accusing 24 identified and seven other unnamed persons. Earlier, the local residents handed over one Fatema Begum to police for allegedly supplying sharp weapons used in the assault. “Fatema Begum was produced before the court on Monday under 54 CPR. The court sent her to jail rejecting her bail prayer,” Kazi Haniful Islam Bhuiyan, Officer-in Charge of Sonaimuri Police Station, said.
