31 crude bombs found in Uttara building: Two held

Police have defused 31 crude bombs, which recovered from an under-construction building in the capital’s Uttara area.
Police also detained-Sumon and Mamun– in this connection.
Earlier, members of Detective Branch (DB) of Police and Uttara (West) Police Station cordoned off the building on Road 13, Sector 10 at Uttara at about 4:30pm.
Later, a bomb disposal team entered the building and defused the bombs. DB’s deputy commissioner Kazi Shafiqul Alam said they arrested two people who kept the bombs at the building.
During initial interrogation, both of the detainees were identified as Jubo Dal leaders, he added.
