Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 30,000 pieces of Yaba tablet worth Tk90 lakh from the Naf River at Sabrang in Teknaf upazila early Friday.
Tipped off, a BGB team from the battalion-2 conducted a drive in 5 no. sluice gate area in the river around 12am and recovered 30,000 pieces of Yaba tablet searching a boat, said BGB Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jar Al Zahid.
However, no arrest could be made as the smugglers managed to escape.
