Taslim Iqbal Chowdhury, chairman of Naikhongchhari Sadar Union Parishad, said around 300 members of the 60 Rohingya families, who have completed their registration, were sent to Kutupalong by buses at noon.
Bandarban deputy commissioner Dilip Kumar Banik was present on the occasion.
“The other Rohingyas will be shifted to Kutupalong and Balukhali Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar in phases on completion of their registration process,” said the DC.
