Bangladesh-German Sampriti-BGS and Islamic Relief Bangladesh have provided food aid to 300 needy families in Rangpur on the occasion of the second wave of Corona and the holy month of Ramadan.
On Monday morning, 75 kg of rice, 4 liters of oil, 4 kg of potatoes, 3 kg of boots, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of onion, 1 kg of salt and 1 kg of dates were distributed to each family at the premises of Payraband BGS Vocational Training Center in Mithapukur Upazila. The food items were distributed at the event in collaboration with France-based donor organization Life. Meanwhile, in Pirgachha, Rangpur, Islamic Relief Bangladesh has distributed rice, pulses, oil and sugar among 100 poor families on the occasion of Holy Ramadan. The food items were distributed by Kaikuri UP Chairman Shafiqul Islam Lebu Mandal as the chief guest at the office of Islamic Relief Bangladesh at Baksir in Kaikuri Union of the upazila. Oil, 3 kg gram and 3 kg sugar have been distributed.
