Eminent writer and journalist Shariar Kabir said the world is at high risk of rising temperature now. Of the countries, Bangladesh is on the top of list of environmental risky countries. One third of the country will go into the sea within next 40 years.
He said trees should be planted to save the country as well as save next generation from the risk environment.
Addressing the view exchange meeting with the journalist of Chittagong held at the Chittagong Press Club’s VIP lounge on Tuesday morning, the chief of Ekatorer Ghatok Dalal Nirmul Committee Shariar Kabir said,
“We have started planting 30 lakh trees in the name of 30 lakh martyred of liberation war.” He also said the genocide in 1971 by the Pakistani Army was the worst genocide in the world. He urged the UN and friendly countries to give reorganization of the genocide on Bangledeshi people in 1971.
