At least 30 people were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over previous enmity at Tarash upazila in Sirajganj district on Sunday.
The incident took place in the village of Dighi Saguna in Magura Binod Union of the upazila when the Idris Ali group clashed with the Afsar Ali group in the morning.
The injured people were admitted to Tarash Hospital. As the condition of six people became serious, they were sent to Sirajganj Sadar and Bogra Ziaur Rahman Medical Hospital and 1 person was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Later the police went to the spot and brought the situation under control. Preparations are underway to file a case in this regard from both the parties.
Dr. Jamal Mia Shovon, Health Officer of Tarash Hospital said the injured have been given first aid. But six of them were sent to other hospitals as they got serious injuries.
