More than 30 persons were injured in a clash that took place at Banshkhali under Chittagong district between two rival groups of villagers over a land dispute on Sunday afternoon.
According to Banshkhali police sources, the followers of Absar Group and Mortuza Ali Group locked in a clash at Ilsha village of Baharchara union under Banshkhali Thana over the occupation of a piece of land. Both the groups exchanged fire.
As a result, at least 30 persons belonged to both the groups were injured. 15 of them were admitted to hospital.
