Customs Intelligence officials arrested a person with 30 gold bars at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong yesterday.
The identity of the arrested man could not be known.
Assistant Commissioner Selim Reza of Chittagong Customs said, the arrested landed at the airport by a Biman Bangladesh flight around 10am.
They suspect his movement and recovered the gold bars weighing 3 kilograms after searching his luggage.
