Police in a drive arrested 30 Bangladeshis while they were attempting to illegally cross into India through the border at Naoapara village in Abhoynagar upazila of Jessore district on Tuesday morning.
Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the 30 Bangladeshi nationals, including 10 women and five children, who were going to India without valid documents in the morning, said Nasir Uddin, officer-in-charge of Abhoynagar Police Station. Most of the arrestees hailed from Narail district, said the OC.
