Three workers died after a balcony of a 10th storey under-construction building collapsed in Dhanmondi-32 area of Dhaka.
The incident happened around 11:00am on Monday. Dhanmondi police station Officer In-Charge (OC) Abdul Latif confirmed the matter to The New Nation.
He said construction workers fell to the ground, breaking the railing of the balcony of an under-construction building.
“One of the workers-Shariful Islam (25) — died on the spot. Two others were declared dead when they were taken to Square Hospital soon after the accident.
