UNB, Rangamati :Three activists of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) were shot dead allegedly by rival Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS) cadres at Bhaibonchhara in Longgadu upazila early Sunday.The deceased were identified as Anik Chakma,30, Sumon Chakma,28, and Sujoy Chakma,35.Locals said, some cadres of pro-peace treaty PCJSS sprayed bullets on a group of activists of UPDF in the dead of night while they were staying in the area, leaving three of them dead on the spot.UPDF leader Mickel Chakma confirmed the deaths.He also alleged that members of Santu Larma’s party JSS were responsible for the killing.Meanwhile, JSS leader Sajib Chakma denied the UPDF leader Mickel Chakma’s allegation.
