Detectives arrested three young terrorists alone with eight hand-made bombs from the back side of the PWD staff quarter in Ghop Central Road area of Jashore District town on Thursday noon.
The arrestee were identified as Rasel, 20, son of Masum Hossain in Shalikha upazila of Magura district, Rana (18) son of Monirul Islam of Magura village in Satkhira Sadar thana, and Nurun nabi, 20, son of Babul Hossain of Sadar Police Station in Jhenaidah district.
DB SI Biplob Roy said that in a reliable information some young terrorists were preparing to make bigger sabotage activities in the town. Then they raided the spot and arrested them with 8 bombs.
DB OC Maruf Ahmad said that the detainees are the rising middle-aged terrorists. Bombs were being stocked for sabotage in the town.
A case was filed with Kotwali Police Station said OC.
