Police recovered three petrol bombs from in front of Tripti Plaza in the district town on Thursday night. Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Amanur Rahman said on a tip-off that a young man carrying petrol bombs was moving towards Tripti Plaza by a motorcycle, a team of police, led by sub-inspector Habibur Rahman, took position in front of the market. Sensing the presence of the law enforcers, two young men fled the scene leaving behind a motorcycle.
Searching the motorcycle, police recovered three petrol bombs in a plastic bag and seized the motorcycle along with the bombs.
