In anti-adulteration campaign of the BSTI , a mobile court led by RAB-7 was conducted on Monday in the port city . During the mobile court operation , 3 organisations including a sweatmeat house convicted with penalty of Tk.5 lakh , a BSTI sources said. Mobile court conducted raid in Pabartak intersection and Chaktai area in the city on Monday morning led by Executive Magistrate Anisur Rahman .
Senior ASP of RAB-7 Mimtanur Ra hman confirmed the news of mobile court operation.
The convicted organization, includes Swapna Super Shop, Aman Food Products of chaktai for alleged production of vermicelli in a unhygienic conditions, Diamond Food Products for manufacturing confectionery items without registrationof BSTI.
During the raid, officials of BSTI were present , sources said.
