Three members of a family, including a seven-month-old children, were killed as a truck and a motorcycle made a crash at Jairampur on Chuadanaga-Darshana highway in the district on Saturday evening.
The degassed were identified as motorcyclist Saheb Ali, 35, his wife Nasrin, 25, and their children Nibir.
Police said the accident occurred when a Chuadanga-bound speedy truck hit the motorcycle in the area, leaving Nibir dead on the spot and two others injured seriously.
The injured Shaheb Ali and his wife Nasrin were taken to the Chuadanga Sadar Hospital and the duty doctor declared them dead.
A case was filed with Damurhuda police station in this connection.
The truck driver managed to escape after the accident.
