Police recovered three bodies of a man, his wife and daughter from a house in Panishail area of Kashimpur under Gazipur city on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Mosharraf Hossain, 28, his wife Hosne Ara, 22, and their 2.5-month-old minor daughter Mohini.
The deceased Mosharraf Hossain was reportedly as a rickshaw puller.
Akbar Ali Khan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kashimpur Police Station, confirmed the news to the media and said that members of law enforcers recovered the bodies from the spot and sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College & Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The deceased, from Boro Gopinathpur village of Pirganj upazila in Rangpur, used to live in the rented room in the area. We have also found an empty bottle of insecticide from the room, the OC said.
The actual reason behind the deaths couldn’t be known yet. Police are working to unearth the reason, OC added.
