At least three women of a family died at Dhaka Medical College & Hospital after drinking toxic alcohol in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj district.
The deceased were identified as Josna, China and Chameli, aged between 25 and 30. China and Chameli were siblings.

Chameli said that having bought alcohol from market, a group of people, including China and Chameli, drank it at home on Friday night. Later, they were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after falling sick. In the morning, both of the sisters were declared dead. But Josna died around 12 pm in the hospital on Saturday.
