At least three members of a family, including a child, suffered burn injuries after a blast of gas cylinder at West Baipail in Ashulia early Saturday.
The injured are identified as Md Akram, 30, his wife Laboni Akter, 25, and their eight-year old son Hossain Md Ashik.
Injured Laboni said, the gas cylinder exploded in the kitchen of their house
in the early morning, leaving them injured. Neighbors brought them to a nearby Hospital and then shifted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Bachchu Mia, Sub-Inspector (SI) of the DMCH Police Camp confirmed the matter of injury. Akram suffered 90 percent burns while Laboni seven percent, Ashik five percent.
