Two motorcyclists have died in separate accidents at Dhaka’s Hatirjheel and Postgola, police have said.
Ramna police Station’s in-charge Moshiur Rahman said two motorcycles hit the road island at Hatirjheel’s Madhubagh bridge on Friday afternoon.
One of the riders was killed on the spot, he said. Another has been rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition, Rahman said.
He, however, could not identify the victims.
Earlier in the day, one Al-Amin, 35, died following an
accident at Postgola between a motorcycle and an autorickshaw. He was initially taken to a local hospital but later shifted to DMCH, where he died, DMCH police outpost Inspector Mozammel Haq said.
A businessman by profession, Amin, hailing from Barisal’s Bakerganj, used to live at Dhaka’s Gendaria.
