Three more bullet-hit Rohingya people were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.
They were brought from the Kutupalong refugee camp on Wednesday night.
The injured are Taslima (30), Mohammad Abdullah (22), and Md Abul Kashem, 80.
CMCH Police Camp’s ASI Alauddin Talukdar said, “The injured took primary treatment at Medecins Sans Frontieres,
an international humanitarian organisation, in Cox’s Bazar. After the primary treatment, we sent them to CMCH for better treatment”.
Taslima was struck by bullets in her left arm and leg, while Abdullah was struck in the left leg, said Chittagong Medical Police Outpost ASI Alauddin Talukdar.
They were all transferred from the hospital in the camp run by Médecins Sans Frontières for advanced treatment during the night, the police said.
A fresh influx of Rohingya refugees into Bangladesh began after Myanmar military’s barbarian crackdown in Myanmar’s Rakhine State on August 25.
A total of 108 Rohingyas have been admitted to CMCH for treatment since fresh violence broke out in Myanmar on August 25. Of them two have already died. Many others are fighting for life.
