3 more bridges over Halda, Sartha rivers in Raozan soon

Three more large bridges are over Halda and sartha river in North Chittagong are in the offing.
 Feasibility study of these bridges are underway . Besides these, a fesibility study team of BUET al so visited the site newly proposed Mohra-Kachukain bridge over Halda recently . After completion of these bridges, communications between Raozan, Hathazari and Fatikchari will ease at maximum extents .
The finally approved bridges are – Noazishpur Fatenagar Bridge over Sartha Khal, Gohira shipahighat bridge and Haladia bridge over Halda. The length of these bridges estimated 120 long .
 Meanwhile 12 culvert bridges are being constructed in Raozn upazila. LGRD sources said the proposed Mohra-Kachukain bridge will connect people of the city with Hathazari and Raozan and a feasibility study team visited the proposed site over Halda river.
 Reliable sources said following the necessity of the public interests of the city and its adjoining areas, lawmaker of Raozan ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP submitted these proposals of bridges to the concerned ministry which is accepted but the construction of Mohra Kachukain bridge yet to be finalized .
Raozan Upazila Engieer Anowar Hossain told this correspondent that in last flash flood, 285 kilometers road damaged in Raozan upazila of which only 23 kilometers repaired against the govt allocation of tk.67 lakh. He further said more fund sought for total repairs of roads and culverts, sources said.
