Three schoolgirls who went missing from Bianibazar were rescued from the capital on Monday with the help of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Police arrested two people, said Aboni Shankar Kar, officer-in-charge of Bianibazar Police Station.
On Saturday, the trio went missing from Dighalbag and Dheungar areas of the upazila.
