Three madrasa students went missing in Bahubal upazila from Friday evening.
The missing are: Tanvir Ahmed, son of Ayub Ali, resident of Chunarughat upazila, Zunaid Ahmed, son of Mushahid Ahmed, resident of Shaestaganj upazila, and Sharif Uddin, son of Rashid Miah, resident of Barlekha upazila in Moulvibazar. All are the students of Mirpur Shamsul Ulum Nuarania Hafijea madrasha.
Sub Inspector of Bahubal Police Station Mofijur Rahman confirmed the matter.
Like every day Tanivir, Zuanaid and Sharif went to adjacent mosque of the madrasha to offer Magrib prayer yesterday but went missing after the prayer, said the madrasha authority. Even family members are unaware about them, they added.
Founder of the madrasha Shamsul Alam said this kind of incident happened for first time in the institution. We are searching them, he added.
