Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 3 lakh pieces of contraband Yaba from Mundar Deil Sea Beach here early Friday.
A BGB patrol team conducted a drive in the area around 2:30am and recovered the Yaba worth Tk 9 crore, said Lt Col SM Ariful Islam of Teknaf BGB-2 battalion. However, there was no arrest as the smugglers fled the scene, the BGB official said.
