Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Nurul Islam BSc said in first six month of the current fiscal , about 3 lakh skilled workers were sent abroad .He disclosed it while addressing the Iftar party arranged at his Khulsi residence on Friday .
He hoped that govt is expecting of overseas employment of 7 lakh Bangladesh workers by current fiscal and as such his ministry is working to reach the desired goal .
The minister also disclosed that he has taken to establish Technical Training Institute in each upazila in Bangladesh to build up skilled workers . Among others, city mayor AJM Nasiruddin, CDA chairman Abdus Salam, President of South District AL Moslemuddin and the General Secretary Mofizur Rahman participated the Iftar party, sources said.
