UNB, Tangail :
Three people were killed and another was injured as a truck plunged into a roadside ditch at Achhimtala on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in Mirzapur upazila early Wednesday.
Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Officer-in-charge of Gorai Highway Police Station Humayun Kabir said a Sirajganj-bound CI sheet-laden truck from Dhaka fell into a roadside ditch in the area after its driver lost control over the steering at about 5:00 am, leaving three people dead on the spot and one injured. The injured was admitted to Mirzapur Kumudini Medical College Hospital.
