At least three persons were killed in a road accident in Shinguria Bridge area in Tangail on Monday noon.
The deceased are Md Rashid,15, Munna, 20, and Sourav, 15, from Bhuapur.
Officer-in-charge of Bhuapur police station Md Rashidul Islam said that the accident took place when a Bhuapur-bound lorry of Fresh Company collided head-on with a Tangail-bound motorcycle leaving two dead on the spot and another injured.
Police seized the killer lorry but its driver and staff managed to escape arrest, he added.
