Three persons were killed in the port city yesterday in separate incidents . Police and hospital sources said one Md. Aziz(35) was killed by some miscreants by beating in his head at Kadamtali area under Sadarghat thana in city . The victim identified as Aziz, son of Syedul Hoque of Boalkhali upazila of Ctg. Police sources said victim Aziz falls down beside a road in front of Kadamtali pora mosque with critical head injury at about 8 am and the locals rushed him to Chittagong Medical Hospital immediately where the attending physicians declared him dead. According to eyewitness, police said victim Aziz was walking beside the road area , suddenly a number of miscreants attacked him in head with lethal weapon and quickly fled away.
Meanwhile, one motorbike rider named Md. Javed(27) died of ramming by a speedy truck at Fouzderhat area in city on Saturday night. Police instantly detained the killer truck but the driver and his assistant quickly escaped from the spot. Killed Javed was a medical representative of Opsonin Pharma, sources said. The victim died on the spot, police sources said.
Besides, one drug addict youth was killed by stabbing in city on Saturday night . The deceased identified as Md. Babu(19).
The incident occurred at 7 pm in front of Amir Sowdagar shop of Bank colony under EPZ thana in city . The locals rounded up one Monir Hossain(25) for alleged involved with the killing and handed over to police after mass beating . The injured Monir also admitted to hospital with critical injury, sources said. Officer incharge of EPZ thana Abul Kalam Azad told that deceased Babu and Monir belong to same area and one knows another as drug addict.
