Three persons including an infant were killed in separate incidents in city and the district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Tousif, 5, hailed from Gorduara union of Hathazari upazila and Mohammad Mominul Hoq, 26, hailed from Kurigram district and Zakir Hossain(25) at Bandar thana in city.
On Wednesday morning, one Zakir Hossain was killed following the headon collision of covered van and tempo at Bandar area in city .Victim Zakir hossain died on the spot, police sources said. Meanwhile minor Tousif was critically injured after a brick loaded Jeep ran over him while he was playing on the road at Alipur area under Kodolpur union at 10 am yesterday.
Momin was critically injured as he was electrocuted while working at BSRM steel industry at Baroyarhat area under Mirsaria upazila of the district at 11 am on Monday.
Both the victims were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the attending doctors declared them dead, CMCH police outpost sources said.
