At least three more persons were killed and 30 others critically injured in road crashes in two districts on Sunday.
Among the deceased, one died in Dhaka, two in Sylhet district.
In Dhaka, the accident took place when a truck rammed a man at Shahjadpur under Gulshan police station in the capital city early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Quader, 54.
Abu Bakar Siddique, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station told the media that a truck hit Quader when he was returning home after performing Fazr prayer in the Pragati Sarani area in the morning. He died on the spot.
Quader was a resident of Shahjadpur , said the OC.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for an autopsy, added the OC.
In Sylhet,two passengers were killed and at least 30 others seriously injured following a collision between a bus and a truck at Lalabazar area on the Sylhet-Dhaka highway on Sunday.
The accident took place around 1:30 pm at Satmail area. The casualties could not be identified instantly.
The injured were sent to Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College Hospital and different private hospitals.
The deceased were between 30and 32 years, said Khairul Fazal, Officer-in-Charge of Sylhet South Surma Police station.
