Three people were killed when a truck hit a tree on Dhaka-Pabna highway at Dulai in Sathia upazila early Friday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The mini truck skidded off the Dhaka road and hit the tree as its driver lost control over steering around 4 am, leaving its driver and two other people dead on the spot, said Nasir Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sathia Police Station. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local hospital morgue.
