Three people were killed when a bus collided with a human hauler at Shantala in Sadar upazila on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Lavlu Dhali, 35, son of Badaruddin Dhali, his brother Jakir and Farid Hossain, 28, son of Nur Mohamamd of Chougachha upazila.
The accident took place around 8:30 am when the Chougachha-bound bus
collided with the human hauler carrying 11 passengers while going to Jessore, leaving Jakir dead on the spot and nine passengers of the human hauler injured, said police.
The injured were rushed to Jessore General Hospital where the doctors declared Lavlu dead, said Ilias Ali, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station. Later, Farid Hossain died on way while being taken to the capital.
Police seized the bus but could not arrest anyone.
